Yours Truly

I have been writing stories since I was a little boy. One of my earliest published stories was about a squiggle who was kind of dumb. He goes past a construction site and a beam falls and flattens him into a straight line. I was probably in second grade when they published it in the class newsletter. I have a very vivid memory of seeing a ditto with the story and it said, Josh, Class 28 on it, next to my paragraph about Squiggle the Schmuck. I don't think I knew what a schmuck even was, just that it was a word that sounded funny to me and I heard it in my house. Since then, I have made many various attempts at sincere autobiography instead of thinly veiled invective masquerading as a zine. You can decide if I have been successful in this endeavor or not.

Let’s start with the Manifesto, which has echoes of a lot of stuff I would later write for the zine.
